Cora Bauer

Cora Bauer has over ten years of experience in media and strategic communications for non-profits across a wide range of issues, including human rights, humanitarian aid, social affairs and health policy. She is an experienced campaigner, skilled at developing high-impact communications strategies spanning news, brand, campaigns and digital in fast-paced and mission-critical environments. She particularly enjoys building creative and collaborative coalitions, bringing energy and enthusiasm to motivate teams and inspire a sense of common purpose.

Before joining di:ga Cora was Head of Media and Communications at Mercy Corps Europe, where she was responsible for the organisation’s external media, communications, digital and brand marketing. In 2022, she led the global communications efforts for the organisation’s humanitarian response in Ukraine which became one of the organisation's most successful fundraising and communications appeals to date.

Before Mercy Corps Europe, Cora worked as a Media Manager at Amnesty International UK, where she led communications for global campaigns on refugee rights, protection of human rights defenders and the COVID-19 response.

She has a two young children who occupy most of her time outside of work but enjoys reading and running whenever she gets the chance.
