Kristiana Papi
Head of Special Projects
Kristiana works across di:ga’s teams to lead complex, cross-cutting projects that require effective coordination, clear thinking and high-quality delivery. She specialises in media relations and advocacy and is especially interested in using strategic communications to advance policies that promote safe, fair and humane asylum systems.
She specialises in designing impactful campaigns that influence decision makers and build support for issues across audiences. Having worked in consultancy roles for nearly a decade, she has delivered communications and advocacy campaigns for organisations across the international development sector, including the Gates Foundation, Oxfam, Asylum Welcome, the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre and Development Initiatives.
She holds a Masters from the University of Oxford in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies where she researched UK government approaches to children in the asylum system. She also holds a First Class degree in International Relations from the University of St Andrews.
