Independent Trustee
Rhian is an HR professional, a coach and organisation development practitioner. She has held senior roles in the public and NGO sectors, and has lived and worked in Asia. She supports organisations through major change, team development and individual work. With a business degree, she began her career in the field of personnel and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She learnt about organisational systems and governance when working in the National Health Service and managing major change for Oxfam GB in the 1990s. She now operates as a freelance consultant supporting leaders and organisations to work more healthily.
On a personal level, Rhian lives in South Wales with her partner and dog, to establish a food growing project for new-entrant farmers. She is passionate about the environment and the need to address the ecological crisis we face. Rhian is an advocate for people with learning disabilities having grown up with an older disabled sister, and for some years, chaired a charity that helps people with learning disabilities and autism to live life to the full.
