Creative Director
Ross has over a decade’s experience leading creative communications campaigns for good causes. He has a track record of reaching and mobilising audiences around issues including economic and environmental sustainability, mis- and disinformation, and social inequality. He’s passionate about the power of digital tools, products and platforms to make and measure impact, and an experienced press and brand strategist.
Prior to joining di:ga in 2023, Ross was Head of Communications at Full Fact, where he led work to raise the organisation’s profile and grow its supporter base. He helped equip millions of people with good, reliable information during a general election and pandemic, designing targeted communications campaigns across news, paid and organic social media.
Before this, Ross headed up communications teams for the Behavioural Insights Team and New Economics Foundation. He was responsible for overall brand and communications strategy in both roles, including digital. He oversaw the development and launch of new websites for both organisations as part of broader brand reviews, as well as introducing use of new digital channels and products to engage target audiences, including email, podcasts and videos.
Ross holds an MA in Journalism from Edinburgh Napier University and an LLB in Law and Politics from the University of Glasgow. He loves music, cooking, and subscribing to more newsletters and podcasts than he can keep up with.
