Zofia Tanaka

Zofia has worked in strategic communications since graduating from university. As an Associate in our News team, she is excited about crafting the stories of organisations that are pioneering positive change and creating meaningful impact.

Prior to joining di:ga, Zofia worked at Hawthorn Advisors, a strategic communications consultancy working with leaders and organisations worldwide. While there, she focused on corporate communications, advising clients across the financial, media and luxury sectors, including on their sustainability initiatives.

Zofia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Ancient and Modern History from the University of Oxford, where she particularly enjoyed studying Roman and 18th- 20th century history. In her thesis, she looked at how the Haitian Revolution was shaped and depicted in Polish memory.

In her spare time, Zofia enjoys travelling, reading and cycling.
