Bringing health data to life

The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) is an independent health research centre at the University of Washington. di:ga has worked with IHME and their US-based communications consultancy Minerva Strategies to promote their high-quality research in Europe, including the flagship Global Burden of Disease report.

We also helped them launch a global index ranking countries by their investments in health and education, and a health forecasting study, which predicted future life expectancy rates and causes of death.

di:ga fed into the strategies for each launch, advised on and contributed to communications materials, and secured quality coverage for the research throughout Europe, with major hits in the Times, Guardian and BBC (UK), Le Monde (France), La Repubblica (Italy), Trouw (Netherlands) and TT News (Sweden) among others.
