Greenpeace UK
In 2022, di:ga had the privilege of working with Greenpeace UK on a number of projects. We helped them launch three separate campaigns, which mobilised more than 230,000 people. These were to hold YouTube to account for greenwashing on its platform, counter the UK Government’s damaging proposal to reverse legislation that protects nature, and call for effective action on climate adaptation during Britain’s hottest summer on record.
We worked with Greenpeace’s politics team to map out the most effective political strategy for each campaign. We then wrote and tested messaging that would engage the general public, and used mass email, social media and web content to drive new audiences to take action.
We also helped Greenpeace UK with the recruitment of its two new joint executive directors by putting shortlisted candidates through a rigorous staged broadcast media interview to test their ability to communicate under pressure.
And we helped secure media coverage in top tier financial press like the Financial Times and Reuters on auditors failing to hold polluting companies to account for poor reporting of exposure to climate risk.
