Continuing the fight for gender equality

CARE International UK

di:ga worked with CARE International UK, a leading development and humanitarian organisation, to provide targeted media support around key priority moments aimed at influencing UK government action to safeguard progress on global gender equality.

We developed a comprehensive media plan focused on strategically important moments, including the UK government budget announcement and the anniversary of the conflict in Sudan. We also delivered the team’s media relations around International Women’s Day, commissioning new data and working with Helen Pankhurst to secure pieces in Politico Playbook, Huffington Post and Stylist, as well as broadcast interviews with LBC and the BBC.

Our approach ensured CARE’s messaging cut through at critical points in the political and media calendar, helping to reinforce the case for sustained UK leadership on women’s rights and gender equality globally.
