Open Ownership exists to increase company ownership transparency, which is critical to help tackle corruption and ensure business is done fairly. It provides support to governments that want to make company ownership information freely available, from drafting laws to verifying data and making sure company registers work in practice.
In 2020, di:ga developed a core script to help Open Ownership explain itself to external audiences - making the case for company ownership transparency, and positioning itself as a technical partner to governments. We helped Open Ownership develop its new mission and vision, website copy and materials to engage potential new partners and funders. Alongside this, we worked with Open Ownership to clarify its communications objectives and audiences, and developed a communications plan for the next 12 months to help increase its profile and impact.
