di:ga has worked with CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) on a number of projects. We were involved from the outset in the Science Based Targets initiative, a partnership with the UN Global Compact, the World Resources Institute, and WWF, which is designed to encourage companies to set greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets informed by science.
We supported the initiative partners and leading companies, including Coca-Cola Enterprises, General Mills, Kellogg, Ikea, NRG, and Unilever to explain why action on climate change makes business sense. Working with the We Mean Business coalition, we ensured clear, compelling messaging and cut through on social and traditional media.
We also supported a project looking at how cities can work with businesses to contribute to lowering emissions and building a low carbon future, which included helping to plan and launch a London-based pilot with the Mayor of London, and developing a playbook to help other cities and businesses follow suit.
