di:ga has worked with CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) for several years. We were involved from the outset in the Science Based Targets initiative, a groundbreaking effort to encourage companies to set greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets informed by science.
Working with the We Mean Business coalition, we ensured clear, compelling messaging and cut through on social and traditional media. Science Based Targets are now at the forefront of corporate efforts to transition to carbon neutral economies, and we have worked for the last two years on the initiative's annual Progress Report.
We also supported a project looking at how cities can work with businesses to contribute to lowering emissions and building a low carbon future. This included promoting a pilot with the City of London, and developing a playbook to help other cities and businesses follow suit.
In late 2019, we supported CDP’s work around COP25 in Madrid, and helped launch groundbreaking reports assessing climate disclosures from key industries like automobiles, energy utilities and oil and gas. Most recently we helped develop a communications strategy for CDP's new focus on the financial services sector.
